Staffed by volunteer mental health professionals, Safe Place is a collaboration of community agencies, schools, and law enforcement dedicated to the mental health and wellness of our community.

The Safe Place strives to increase awareness about suicide as a public health problem that can be prevented. The ultimate goal of the organization is to reduce the stigma associated with suicide in order to increase each person’s ability to seek help and prevent further loss of life.

Quotes from Survivors

“Soak up the views. Take in the bad weather and the good weather. You are not the storm.”
